Seminole State College in Florida announced their plans to use an NEH Challenge Grant to create a humanities program.

The Nelson T. Gant Foundation at John McIntire Library in Zanesville, OH is preparing to host NEH’s Created Equal initiative.

The Buffalo Bill Center of the West is digitizing the “Papers of William F. Cody.”

The University of Oregon’s Oregon Digital Newspaper Program (ODNP) will digitize historic newspapers from Hood River and Wasco counties.

Connecticut Humanities supports an ongoing theatre discussion program.

We posted more information about NEH Summer Seminars, Institutes, and Workshops for Educators. We shared information about upcoming events from Pennsylvania Humanities Council, Oklahoma Humanities Council, Mississippi Humanities Council, Minnesota Humanities Center, Mass Humanities, and Illinois Humanities Council. We announced open dates for NEH On the Road, a traveling exhibition program, and also posted background information on the program. We also shared a lesson plan related to the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address.
