We received some fantastic responses from our hard-working Humanities State Councils! Connecticutt Humanities (@CTHumanities)

@NEH_Congress Kicked off @PoetryOutLoud, Lifelong Learning wkshps w/ families, writing classes to seniors. Every month should be #NAHM!

Michigan Humanities (@mihumanities)

@NEH_Congress We encouraged statewide literary discussion and awarded the first batch of Arts & Humanities Touring Grants!

New York Humanities (@Nyhuman)

@NEH_Congress National Art and Humanities Month was busy; we did workshops for After Sandy, and got a grant for Public Humanities Fellows.

Arizona Humanities (@AZHumanities)

@NEH_Congress We awarded $67,500 in grants to 11 awardees for projects across #Arizona!

@NEH_Congress 4/6 published numerous new entries via @encyclopediaVA; launched Google Street View project for VA historic site interiors;

@NEH_Congress 5/6 edited numerous digital documents via DocumentsCompass; printed “Humanities Spoken Here” poster via VA ArtsofBookCenter;

@NEH_Congress 6/6 prep for Nov1 Virginia Africana conference; and launched #40years40stories series in celebration of our 40th year. Whew.
