Upcoming Grant Deadlines

We encourage you to share information with your constituents about upcoming NEH grant deadlines. It takes time to put together a strong grant application, so the sooner you contact your constituents with this information, the better (many district offices send out grants newsletters). We are hosting a webinar on October 29th at 2pm ET, which will give more information about these programs (RSVP to mcain@neh.gov). You can find more information about all of our grant programs here.

Media Projects grants (formerly “America’s Media Makers”) go toward the creation of films, websites, and other media—read more about NEH-funded film Constitution USA with Peter Sagal. In our “Reaching Rural Communities” report, we highlighted the Buffalo Bill Cody Historical Center, a recipient of Museums, Libraries and Cultural Institutions grants (formerly “America’s Historical and Cultural Organizations”). Collaborative Research Grants allow scholars to undertake large-scale projects—watch a film about the archaeologists exploring James Madison’s Montpelier here.
