NEH Supports Veterans from Sea to Shining Sea

From combat to the classroom, the NEH is helping veterans and their families process the homecoming experience and transition to college and the workforce. The projects featured are part of a recently released report on NEH’s impact on veterans, Supporting Veterans, available here on

Featured Projects include:

>the Warrior-Scholar Project, a course for veterans enrolling in college,

>Ancient Greeks/Modern Lives, a touring theatre programs for veterans and military families,

>YouStories, a library program and app for veterans to share their experiences,

>the Missouri Warrior Writers Project, creative writing workshops in VA hospitals,

>and Literature and Medicine, a reading program for VA Hospital staff.
